At Ohana Pools and Spas, we offer Full Service only. Partial services leave questions and responsibilities unanswered and typically costs the homeowner in additional expenses. By offering Full Service only, we simply remove the headaches for you and we handle it all. All residential quotes are by appointment only and performed by one of the Owners of Ohana Pools and Spas.

Weekly Pool Maintenance - Residential

This section is intended for Home Owners and Renters seeking pool and spa maintenance.

  • brushing of tiles and walls
  • removal of all debris from the top of the water to the bottom, including vacuuming when needed
  • chemical review and addition of proper chemicals to maintain proper and water balance
  • clearing of all catch baskets including skimmers, pump baskets and inline vacuum baskets (for pools with inline vacuum systems)
  • equipment review with diagnosis on any items that require repair/replacement
  • filter cleaning of all filter types (typically monthly for caged pools, bi weekly or weekly for open pools)
  • minor stain removal
  • algae removal: black, yellow, green, red (depending on severity of black algae, it may require multiple treatments and an additional cost)
  • bi yearly phosphate treatment
  • add/remove water as appropriate, home owner education on how to remove water via the pool equipment
  • multiple weekly visits if needed
  • quick review of exterior of home for homeowners out of town or not residing here

Turnover and Short Term Projects - Residential

This section is intended for General Contractors or Home Owners needing assistance with pools in distress and/or abandoned.

  • multiple weekly visits until pool is in it’s proper state, safe to swim in and maintaining appropriate chemical balance
  • complete cleaning and removal of all algae types from tiles, grout, steps, returns, skimmers and vacuums affected by the distress (black algae may be additional)
  • (2) phosphate treatments
  • brushing of tiles, walls and floors
  • removal of all debris from the top of the water to the bottom
  • chemical review and addition of proper chemicals to return/maintain proper water balance
  • clearing of all catch baskets including skimmers, pump baskets and inline vacuum baskets  (for pools with inline vacuum systems)
  • equipment review with diagnosis on any items that require repair/replacement
  • filter cleaning/backwash of all filter types
  • replacement of DE and/or Sand in filters if appropriate
  • minor stain removal or assessment of acid wash/resurfacing dependent on the length of distress and extent of damage
  • add/remove water as appropriate

Weekly Pool Maintenance / Start Ups - Residential

This section is for Home Owners with new pools currently under construction or recently completed

  • Follow step by step guidelines outlined by the pool builder for initial start of up chemical requirements
  • Client education on the basics of how the pool equipment operates

Weekly Pool Maintenance - Commercial

This section is intended for Commercial Pools;  Apartment, Condominium and Hotel Community Pools and Small Splash Pad systems.

Due to the complexity of each Commercial Pool, we ask that you contact us directly to schedule a tour and a proposal.

  • Invoicing:  We can deliver by US Postal Service or Electronically to the email(s) of your choice
  • Payments:  We accept cash, check, electronic checks and credit cards.  Any electronic payments made through our invoicing system (QuickBooks) are secure and Ohana Pools and Spas will never see or obtain your personal banking or credit card information.

      • electronically by setting up an Auto Pay transaction with your financial institution to deliver to us on a specific day of the month
      • electronically and securely through our invoicing program in 2 simple clicks
